What a Good God!

Well life just doesn’t get any better that this. Traveling and preaching this glorious gospel of our Lord and Savior. Words cannot express the gratefulness for those that cover us with their prayers, go out of their way to see that my family and I are comfortable. That give so we can do what Father called us to do, there is a blessing for them. God has some of the sweetest children and I love getting to met them here as well as overseas. We are running revival after revival, planning and preparing for the ministry and the little bit of work that God allows us to do for his kingdom. Trying by his Spirit to touch lives and see them transformed by the word and his good Holy Ghost. Some weird people slip around in the dark hunting ghosts and spirits, listening for any kind of noise. In realty they are playing with demons and evil spirits. Well come to the house of God and see and experience a real Spirit, that wants to change your life! That will comfort you, and help you each day that the Lord allows you to live. That can set you free to enjoy this journey we call life.
Well the folks in KY as well as VA sure know how to treat a preacher as well as have CHURCH. People say that God does not heal anymore, well as one preach friend say “He ani’t healing any less either”. One lady in the services had the fire of the Holy Ghost come upon her and said she had never felt anything like it. A preacher’s wife at that and 72 yrs young! He is proving himself to his people that are still hungry and willing to allow him to move in their lives as well as their bodies.
2 Chronicles 16:9 For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.
That word perfect means fully committed to him our God. We can learn much from this chapter of the bible. How a man was perfect or fully committed to God Almighty and was helped of the Lord. But he forgot God and leaned toward man and other sources. The condition of his heart was so bad, that God sent him a seer to reveal to him his sin and foolishness. He rejected the seer and his message and put him in jail. My friend if God allows His word, His Spirit, or His servant to come to us, there is a reason. Not to make us hurt or just to be cruel, but to bring correction to our lives. To aid and comfort as well as to bring about healing and wholeness in our spirit and life.
Psalm 103:13 Like a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. 14) For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we dust.
We forget his compassion and concern for you. A lot of ministers forget this and want to tan their hides. How sad many times as I study his word, I will weep and see my own short comings and must repent, before I can walk before the people. I just want them (God’s people and wayward children) to know that he loves and does care and will move for them. Yes there will be some correction in our life, but to build us up and make vessels of honor fit for the master’s use. If we the body of Christ (there is only one body) can just come together and reap this last day harvest. Those that are lost and need God’s help to get out of the pit of sin and despair. To know joy (Romans 14:18) and to have peace, and just to be PLAIN HAPPY. Thank God it is there for whom so ever will. That means it belongs to you, me or whoever.

Great Things

The Lord is giving wonderful revivals and traveling mercy. On 7-27-09 getting home from an AWESOME revival crossing the mountains, it was so foggy crossing the Jellico mountain I thought I would have to turn around and go back. God was with me as I was making it home for out 35 wedding anniversary. We are so blessed to have lasted this long and Sister Robbie to have put up with me all these years. She said “I better be home on her birthday and our anniversary”. So many wife works against their husband and sharing them to come and go for God. He gave me a good one-the best!
Well God pour out his Spirit there in KY at the Corbin Christian Center COGMA with Pastor Jeff Sturdivant and the congregation there. We have new family and close bonds formed there (we love you all there).Will have photos posted later, hopefully you will be able to view a live service there later this month on the website (something new). One Lady had the fire of God run through her body(72yrs young) had never felt anything loke it. God is so good to us his children!A shout out to NEW BEGINNINGS in Kings Mtn,NC were we ministered last night. Well we have 2 more revivals ahead of us this month (as of now) and need you prayers. Psalms 27:13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living
14) Wait on the Lord, and be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart, wait I say on the Lord.

Wait= to remain in expectation, to stop or remain stationary until the arrival of some person or event; to rest in patience

My oldest daughter was around 3 or 4 years old and the city bus route came by our house. She wanted to ride the big bus. I told her fine and you would have thought she was going to a theme park. On the day of the big bus ride, we waited in front of our house. She played and looked up every little bit for the bus. She had no concerns or worries, because her father had said she was going on a bus ride. She was trusting her daddy’s word. When the bus arrived she just jumped on it and gave no thought that a fare had to be paid. She ran and found a seat and her Father paid the cost.
I believe this is the way we are to wait on God. Not to get all bent out of shape, tremble with fear, what if and so forth. If our Father promised it, then it shall surly come to pass. Habakkuk 2:3… though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Now what do we do from the promise to the possession of the promise? From the time frame till it crosses from the spiritual realm to the natural realm. We wait with expectation, we remain stationary until the arrival and we rest in patience. May I say to someone it’s on its way just hold on! My daughter had no concerns- she believed what her earthly father said!
The enemy will try all sorts of things to get us ahead of God. Lets not forget Sarah and Abraham, when Sarah thought she could help the Lord out. There are some real befits in waiting for God. The enemy says you should be doing something WE ARE –WAITING ON GOD AND HIS PROMISE! I want to share two things that will not happen while your waiting on God. 1) You will not die; no matter how many times the enemy says so. Psalm33: 19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. 20) Our soul waiteth for the Lord: he is our help and shield. God is going to sustain us in this famine, where everyone else is getting blessed. It seem as if nothing is going to work out for us. God will not let us die; he is our help and shield.The 2nd) thing that’s not going to happen is we are going to become weak and fail! The text said he would strengthen thine heart, and God is not a man that he should lie. AMEN. We are not dying or weak or failing God, but trusting him, believing him. Oh for the perfect timing of the Almighty God. Not my timing or your timing, but God’s. He does not watch a clock like you and I. Remember he has his own timetable, a 1,000 years is but one day with the Lord. When we look at it like that we not been waiting that long. So many of us are in a transition period. We are not where we were; yet at the same time we are not where we are going. So we must wait upon the Lord Isaiah 40:31. David the writer of our text knew what it was to wait upon the Lord. God uses times of waiting to refresh, renew and teach us. Make good of your waiting times by discovering what God may be trying to teach us in them. Remember His plan may just be bigger that we can comprehend; I know it was for my life.

Ezekiel 1:12 And they went every one straight forward: wither the SPIRIT was to go, they turned not when they went.

Forward web. Toward a part or place before or in front; onward; progressively; opposed to be backward, Go forward; move forward.

We want to go forward in life, career and relationships. We forget we are to be moving forward in our spiritual walk. The church and when I say church not meaning a group of people but the body of Christ. As a whole are to be progressing forward. Sad to say that the whole is much like the individual and it is not advancing or going forward either. Some or many will disagree but we are the Laodiceans church neither hot nor cold, just lukewarm. Oh there is a lot of noise and even some zeal for a season. Most are after there own kingdom rather than the Lord’s. I read my Bebo profile written in 07 and stopped and just thought about the pain and scares I have received since then. Talked about and people you never thought would turn against you-have. Lied upon to discredit this ministry and me and never think to apologize, but rather pretend it never happen! Yet I still go forward, pressing toward the mark. In the text the living creatures, 4 of them moved as one unit by the SPIRIT. This is the way the church or body of Christ is to go. STRAIGHT FORWARD and TURN NOT. They are to look not back, they turned not out of the way, and they gave not over till they had completed their course.
2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.
One good thing about God when you realize you have left the course, he allows u-turns. Amen. The body of Christ has to many chiefs and no Indians as the old saying goes. All want to lead when in fact they are not leadership material. They are novice (1 Timothy 3:6) and are doing more damage to the body of Christ than building of it. They have turned out of the way without finishing the course that God had for them. When is the body coming into the hour that Isaiah spoke of?
Isaiah 52:8 Thy watchman shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the lord shall bring Zion.
The evangelist and apostles, as well as the gospel ministers of the last days. The watchman sounding the notice of approaching danger. Singing together in harmony and unity. We have lost our way and our course and taken our own rather than God’s. Being lead of flesh rather than Spirit as it should be. There is much work to do in these last weeks, days and minutes of time. Souls must be warned of approaching danger of being lost without God! This is more important than yours or my feelings (oh boo-woo baby). It’s time to grow up and go forward, no matter the cost. We cannot give up this close to the prize, we must go forward. The enemy has come and is present but we must move as the SPIRIT LEADS and it is leading FORWARD!

Running For The Master

Thank God for his mercy and grace. I am up and traveling once again for the Lord. Lord willing I am to be traveling close to 3,ooo miles for him running revivals. We have gone trough some deep valleys, but we were only passing through! Psalms 84:6 Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.7)They go from strength to strength...
The word Baca is valley of tears or weeping. It would take a lot of tears to fill a well.Verse 7 means that when we pray and weep before God we will go from strength to strength. I thank God for those that prayed and help carry me through the valley of Baca. For the real family of God who loved me and checked on me to see if I was alright. It has not been easy, but by the grace of God I passed THROUGH and God did not say we have to live there. Hold on to that unchanging hand, he will never let go. It's good to crawl into daddy,s lap and weep and let Him hold you and whisper in your spirit "it's going to be alright, your just passing through". There are yet more mountains to climb, miracles to behold. Souls to be brought into the kingdom, more work that must be done. Webster says the word THROUGH means into one side and out at the other side of. So my brother and my sister, there is the other side of what you have enter. Oh you may not see it or feel it but it there just ahead of you. Keep praying and weeping, because strength is coming to you, more strength. The words says your not losing- the devil does, your gaining every day, your coming closer to your reward. Keep pressing toward the prize... it's just ahead. Much love to all who have prayed and given to the ministry to keep it going. There were days I felt sorry for myself as friends let me down, and the enemy came every day to visit and tell me it was over, oh if we were as faithful as the old enemy. Remember close to 3,000 miles just this month alone, as I have made it to the other side and you will to in Jesus's name!

HEY ALL, I COME WITH ANOTHER GOOD UPDATE AFTER SURGERY. I AM ABLE TO PUT SOME WEIGHT ON MY LEG. I AM STILL USING THE WALKER SOME AT THIS TIME. THE DOCTOR TOLD ME AS I COULD BEAR IT TO PUT WEIGHT ON THE KNEE. I AM ABLE TO GET COFFEE AND GOT TO THE BATHROOM ALL BY MYSELF (YEA). SO I AM THANKFUL FOR THE HELP OF THE LORD THROUGH ALL THIS. I AM GLAD TO HAVE THE WORST BEHIND ME AND NOW ON THE ROAD TO FULL YES FULL ( WE WILL HAVE NOTHING LESS) RECOVERY. TO MUCH YET TO DO FOR THE MASTER! I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO GETTING BACK TO THE PULPIT WITHOUT PAIN AND BACK ON THE MISSION FIELD. THERE MAY BE SOMETHING AHEAD OF YOU THAT YOUR NOT SURE ABOUT. SURGERY UPDATE

WELL THE SURGERY WENT WELL-PRAISE GOD! I THANK GOD FOR GREAT DOCTORS WHO GOD HAS GIFTED. THE GREAT PRICE THEY PAY TO DO THE WORK THAT THEY DO. I AM IN SOME PAIN TODAY, BUT NOTHING UNBEARABLE FOR WHICH I AM THANKFUL. ALSO A LOVING AND CARING WIFE WHO GOES THE EXTRA MILE IN CARING FOR ME. MY DAUGTHER WHO HELPS US A GREAT DEAL. ALL THOSE WHO HAVE CALLED AND CHECKED ON ME AND I MUST SAY "IT FEELS GOOD TO BE LOVED". TO EVERYONE WHO HAS AND IS CARING ENOUGH TO BE PRAYING FOR ME! Well Happy New Year to each and every one who reads this blog. As many know I am having surgery next week and will be down for about 6-8 weeks. On this blog is where I will keep you posted of my progress. You will be able to leave comments and let me know you are praying for me. I have prayer for thousands of people over the many years of service for the Lord, now it’s your turn to return the favor. So by Friday or Saturday I will update you. So keep checking. My Days Are Swifter...

JOB 7:6 MY DAYS ARE SWIFTER THAN A WEAVER’S SHUTTLE…

Well Thanksgiving has passed and Christmas 08 is well on it's way and if you’re like me your wondering where the year went? In the text Job was at a very difficult place in his life. A hard trial had come his way and he wanted to die. Thank God that’s not the end of the story, and he came forth as gold with twice as much. See my friends we are winners right where we stand. In the mist of the fire our Jesus is with us and will never leave us. We shall come out with VICTORY!
Some may not know it, this year started with my feet hitting the ground and running for the Master. Last November I fell pretty hard and started having trouble with my left knee. Long story short, it has just shut me down. I hurt my ankle in June and was in a cast for about 7 weeks. This ended up really bothering my knee and unless the Lord moves between now and then will have to have surgery in Jan. Hard places are not rare to the child of God. It forces us into the place and position that God has for us. Coming forth as gold so that the Master can use us. So hold on and get ready for that new place in God, to possess a inter depth with the Master. A closer walk with more of a likeness of the Lord and not so much of self.
My prayer for each of you is peace, love and joy during this special time of year. That you will not take Christ out of Christmas and you look forward to a blessed New Year.
I found some photos of my first mission trip back in 1987 (21 yrs ago), the Lord allowed me to take 9 on that trip. What a time we had, coming in at close to 1 o’clock in the morning and singing out hearts out. We were happy to be able to work for the Lord and counting it an honor. There are some other trips as well of the places we went in the island country of Jamaica. Some in the photos have gone on to there reward. Other’s like myself are still fighting a good fight and waiting till the Master says “your finish and your work done, now come home”. What a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see- when I am about to get my shout on! Be blessed and I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I did, and please remember the ministry and myself in prayer. I am really ready to get back to what I am called to do preach His glorious gospel. I am sorry that I have not be able to post once a month as normal, but (Lord willing) I will be able to do more next year. God bless each of you that read and are blessed by the post. Life's Road

Psalm 55:6 And I said for, Oh that I had wings like a dove! For then would I fly away, and be at rest.
7 Lo, then would I wander far off, and remain in the wilderness. Selah
8 I would hasten my escape from the windy storm and tempest.

It’s a hard road at times, but a good road. In the text David as close to God as he was, had moments when he wanted to get away from it all and just escape the problems and pressures of life.
Job said in Job 14:1 Man that is born of a woman is of a few days, and full of trouble. In the text most believe it was during the rebellion of Absalom his own son. Family troubles or as the younger folks call it “Family Drama”. David had been betrayed and as a human being, there was hurts and pain- but we must stay on the road. This “highway of holiness” and keep our hearts clean and pure before the Lord. From time to time we will need a refuge, a hiding place from the enemy as the road gets a little rough. Nahum 1:7… a strong hold in the day of trouble. Proverbs 18:10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. David said the Lord was his high tower also a rock, a fortress and a buckler as well as a horn of salvation. David learned when the road got rough and he needs protection to look to God. Life is a journey we travel and sometimes the road is not to good. Just like the roads in South America that are pure sand with holes waist deep. To be able to drive well it needs rain, as the rain compact the sand and makes good traveling. During the dry season the sand is loose and easy to slide. It just like the dry seasons in our life when our journey is a little more difficult to advance forward for and in the kingdom of God. The best driver can slide and even wreck if not careful. Prayer just like the rain will compact the road and make the journey easier During these season as always, but especially during these times we must be on guard like never before. The holes, loose sand and sharp curves, we must drive very slow and watch our words and actions, but still go forward. The Lord has promised that it would not get to bad that we can’t travel and He is ever with us, His Sweet Spirit to guide us. Yes it’s a hard road at times, but a good road that leads to glory. So I will keep traveling this old road come what may, because I know where it ends! Oh the enemy of our souls wants us to take a different road, that to the flesh looks better, but where does it end? An old song said, “I sit down to rest, for my feet had got so weary, but then I heard a voice within me say, you got to keep on walking, keep on walking. Walking in the light of the Lord, you will get to heaven someday, better get in the right way, walking in the light of the Lord”.

EPHESIANS 3:19 AND TO KNOW THE LOVE OF CHRIST, WHICH PASSETH KNOWLEDGE, THAT YE MIGHT BE FILLED WITH ALL THE FULLNESS OF GOD.

FULLNESS= full number- full measure, that which has been completed. The word describes a ship with a full cargo and crew and a town with no empty house.
(play-row-mah) strongly emphasizes fullness and completion!

There is an old song that says, “till you have known the love of God”. I don’t think a Christian would argue with me saying no word can describe the love of God and to walk in fellowship with him. It's better felt than told is the only way I can describe it. Everybody should know who Jesus is and to know his love, warmth and to feel his loving arms around them and have him dry away there tears. No wonder Katherine Kuhlman’s mother look up at her after receiving the Holy Ghost and said “Go tell the world about this”.
Many teach that the fullness of Christ is to be super human and to perform great miracles. Which miracles are a part of the believer’s everyday lives. There is also a power that comes in the believers life’s after receiving the Holy Ghost according to Acts 1:8. There is also a completion that should be in one’s life. The word completion according to Webster means= having all parts or elements. In other words not lacking anything complete or whole, FULL. This does not describe many Christian today, does it? They go through the motions felling empty, knowing that something is missing. God is wanting and trying to get us to that place, but most just don’t have time for the process. As I have said many times before that just a little church on Sunday is all of the God that they want or need. Oh if people knew what it is to die out to self and allow Jesus to be all in all in their lives. I mean not to know of him but to be intimate with and to walk in real fellowship with him just as Adam did in the cool of the day (Gen 3:1). For the most they don’t even know what there calling and purpose in the body of Christ is. Just as the children of Israel wander in the wildness 40 years so are many in the body of Christ just wandering. Every person in the body should take the time to lay them self on the alter and fellowship with the master of there souls. He want us full and complete and lacking nothing. It amazes me as an evangelist, which has prayer lines for people to come up in the lines. You ask them what they need and they say “I don’t know, but I need something”! Some come just to feel the anointing on there bodies, but sad to know they can experience the same anointing in there prayer closet or just lifting there hands in real worship at home or in services! It’s time for the body to quit settling and go after the fullness of God. To let nothing satisify us till we are complete and lacking nothing in the spirit- amen!

APPEITIE FOR GOD

Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Appetite= web says a natural desire for satisfying some want or need esp. for food.
The term hunger and thirst means an extreme or intense desire for something, here it refers to the righteousness of God. The children of Israel lost their appetite for God and the things of God many times. The lord would be forced to send judgment just to get their attention and bring them back to Him. 2Thessalonians 2:3…there came a falling away first. Paul does not say that people would stop coming to church for they are filling up where there is entertainment. Where there is a form and a fashion without the presences of God, man-made. But I believe he is saying they will lose their appetite or desire for God. A dear lady of God Mother Harris (97yrs) who just went home to be with the Lord. She lived during the depression and told me how they went 21 days without food. She said they would eat green plums or almost anything to just stop the hunger and the pain in her stomach. She had a strong desire just for food, any food. When I god saved over 30’s yrs ago, I had an appetite for God like Mother Harris had only mine was spiritual! I could not read his word enough or go to church enough. The more I ate the things of the Lord the more I wanted them. I wore the cover off my first bible in six months. I would not stop and still have not got enough of the Master. I did not stop till I was sanctified and filled with heaven’s sweet Holy Ghost speaking in other tongues. It did not take ten yrs; it only took three months because of my appetite for God. If we are not filled with God’s righteousness, it’s because we are not hungry enough.
Psalms 84:2 My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh crieth outh for the living God. In other words I want make it without you God. I see people that act like they will not make it if they don’t get a new car or concerts tickets. If they miss the big game they will faint. Young people and the newest game system, but not for the living God. It like that relationship just does not matter,
Jeremiah 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
Why are we not finding him could be we are not searching with our whole heart our whole desire? In Ephesians 3:19 talks of being “filled with all the fullness of God”. That word fullness means a full number- full measure, that which has been completed. The word describes a ship with a full cargo and crew and a town with no empty houses or like my suitcase when packing for the mission field. The gr. word strongly emphasizes fullness and completion! This does match our church world today. Just a little church on Sunday is all the God we need and don’t won’t to be bother anymore. It’s because we have lost our appetite for the Master and His great work. His high praises does not move us anymore. So therefore we need something to stir our flesh. Most don’t even know their place in the body of Christ or their gifts or callings. May I say this is not the will of our great God for us. He wants us whole and complete in Him, the fullness! Let's get hungry for God again, stir our inner appetite for the most high and let’s work for the kingdom while we can!

God Has Not Forgotten!

Matthew 6:33 But shall seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

To seek “first the kingdom of God and his righteousness” means to turn to him first for help, to fill your thoughts with his desires, to take his character for your pattern, and to serve and obey him in everything!
Now there are many the serve the Lord with a whole heart, while other just do lip serve for our great King. I want to be numbered with those that serve him with a whole heart, not just in words but deeds as well. I want to praise God for all he has done for me these last few months. Ever since I came back from overseas the enemy has attacked my body. He sometimes forgets I have healer that is so close to me he calls me friend. He has once again touched me and given me strength. I am not going into the details but the ministry was really on the line and looked like it was over. My schedule is filling up so fast, that I just stand amazed at what God is doing. We as human beings and flesh have a tendency to look with our fleshly eyes rather than through the eyes of the spirit and faith. Now I have served God for over 30 some years and know what I am talking about. We must do as Psalm 121:1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. God is going to take care of his own; he has proven this time and time again. He watches over us, never taking his eyes off of us. In 2004 I gave a minister friend overseas a New Testament bible that I had bought from a ministry. In early 2006 while at his church where he pastors now, I saw that worn bible. I told him they now offer both Old and New Testament and I would by the grace of God get him one. These bibles sell for over a hundred dollars, and I had not been able to get him one. Not forgetting I prayed and asked the Lord to help me get him that bible to preach his word. Overseas they can’t just run to the Christian bookstore and pick one up as we do the cost is unreal. They count themselves blessed just to get a bible let alone a good study bible. Well while in revival in our state this month, the last night a brother came up to me and said “ Bro Joey I have a brand new bible that I want to give you, to give to who ever you feel lead to give it to”. He said I only lived a few minutes from the church where I was at, so he ran home and got it and brought it back. Of all the bibles on the market, he brought in one just like I told my pastor friend I would get him. I had to get my shout on right there, for I knew that Father had answered prayer again. The reason I am sharing this is someone is going through something and fell forgotten. The old enemy goes so far as to tell us that our God does not care. Well he is a lair and the father of them. The bible is on it way to that pastor overseas and I put a note in there and said you though I had forgotten, but I hadn’t. And neither has your Father forgotten you. Hold on and fight the good fight of faith and he will bring you out! Deliverance is on it’s way and you will come out of the fight with more than you began with- richer in faith- a stronger determination plus a greater relationship with our Father and will have the testimony just as me “ I was not forgotten!

STOP LAUGHING AT GOD!

Genesis 18: 12-15

Well we are in a brand New Year and God has blessed us and allow us to see it. I remember many years ago in a watch night service my first pastor held up a blank sheet of paper. He said it was ours in heaven and it was up to us what was put on our record there. This has stuck in my spirit for all the years. I think it’s awesome to start a New Year, but more so to be able to start fresh and new with Jesus Christ. That he will forgive us and renew us and bless us if we allow Him and obey Him!
In our text “Sarah laughed within herself”, God was telling Abraham he was going to fulfill his promise to him. Now Abraham and Sarah both old, 99 and 89 that they would have a child. It was more that she could comprehend at their age for them to have pleasure and her bring forth a child. Now we understand the world laughs everyday at the believers, for us trusting in his word. Thinking we must live separated from the world, live clean and holy, they laugh. We are just missing out on all the fun in life, all the rules and regulations. As for us laughing at God with our sanctified self, and our holy living, we shake the preacher’s hand. We have even had him in our house for dinner. Why we put the flower arrangement on the communion table. Laugh at God it unheard of, by the world yes, the heather, yes the unholy yes,yes,yes. Read the text God was saying he was going to fulfill his promise made almost 25 years earlier. He talking the unheard of, the impossible, something so new and different “she laughed ”. She even denied that she laughed. The truth is we laugh at God each time we say he can’t. We laugh every time we refuse to trust him and believe his word. I know we denied it, we can’t let those words come out of out mouth, but we laugh! There is a hungrier in my soul for more of Him and less of me. We are too late in the game to try to fool anyone; we must get down to business- God Business. Hebrews 12:1 … let us lay aside every weight; and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us (KJV). This race is coming to an end, and how many things were left undone in 2007, that we meant to do. Unbelief is sin and we laugh at God settling for it in our lives. Let’s take God at his word in 2008, let this be the year deliverance reigns in our lives, and the blessings overtake us. The year our lost love ones finds there way back home, into the Savior’s loving arms. Let this be year we stop laughing and God and start rejoicing in his promises! In the text verse 14 we need to remember the word of our God to a laughing Sarah “Is any thing too hard for the Lord “?

"A VERY SPECIAL CHRISTMAS"

Luke 2: 14 GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST AND ON EARTH PEACE, GOOD WILL TOWARD MEN.

Well it that time of year when we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I know some do not celebrate his birthday, but I do. Not the way the world does, but for now people still remember his birth. It amazes me how some can try to have his birthday party with out even saying His name. It should be as one old song says “ IT NOT JUST A HOLIDAY, BUT IT SHOULD BE A HOLY DAY. DON’T TAKE CHRIST OUT OF CHRISTMAS “! I want to share a special Christmas memory with you this month. If you have never heard my testimony mine younger life was not to good. Having ran away from home at 15 yrs, then turning 16 got a job in a cotton mill. Myself and some people had rented a mobile home, but them not wanting to work they moved out leaving me alone at 16, trying to take care of myself and keep a roof over my head which is a pretty big task for a 16 yrs old boy, no one that young should have to do it. My sweet precious Aunt Shirley and her mom came by and said get your stuff together, your going to live with us. Her and her husband and two boys took me in like I was one of them. I had been in the drug seen and they may have saved my life. I know now that the hand of God was on my life. Later in life she would win my wife and myself to God. Well that Christmas money was tight for them. They had helped me get my driver licenses and a car. I wanted a tape player for my car (an 8 track), it been a long time ago. Well they bought me that 8 track and my uncle worked a good part of Christmas Eve night putting it in my car. I am crying as I write this, I don’t know if I ever really let them know what that Christmas meant to me. It was one of the best I have ever had, till I had children and shared the joy of Christmas with them. I didn’t know for some time, that they where not even able to get themselves anything for Christmas. As an adult man, I still remember that morning as I said earlier with tears in my eyes. I hope and pray that I have play a part in giving my family and other some joy and memories that last a life time. Is this not the real way to celebrate Christmas, by blessing someone? Not by how much or by how little, nor the paper or the bow it comes in, but by the amount of love that come with it! By the way my Uncle and Aunt have both gone home to be with the Lord, but still hold a special place in my heart. Please remember that JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON! May you and your family have much love and happiest till next year.

THANKSGIVING = THANKS, THANKSGIVING, ADORATION, PRAISE. The aspect of praise that gives thanks to God for what he does for us. Thanksgiving should spring from a grateful heart.

Well ready or not the holiday season is almost here. Thanksgiving then Christmas and New Years is just around the corner. Real thanksgiving is not just a Thursday in November for the child of God. It is a way of life for us PSALM 113:3 From the rising of the sun unto the going of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised. I know you make say “Preacher you have always had it good, no tough times, and live in a nice house with a white little fence”. You have never heard my testimony! The holidays have the highest suicide rate than at any other time of the year. If you are having troubles right now, know your not alone and you need to stop and think what if? There are people that are homeless, no limbs or sight with no family. All sorts of things, no wonder the bibles says PHILIPPIANS 4; 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and there be any praise, think on these things. Because it takes our minds off of the difficult things. And causes us to focus on the good in our lifes. Make a list of the bad and the good in your life and if the bad out numbers the good, email me I want to talk to you. If your honest with yourself, you will see God is good, things could be worst and FAITH says it will work out! Faith is a powerful tool in the hands and hearts of real believers. Don’t feel powerless against the enemy. Read the last scripture on this posting and remember VICTORY is yours. If all you have is a turkey TV dinner- give thanks and enjoy because some don’t have that.

There is a hunger among God’s true and elect people. We are home sick for a country that we have never seen before. As Abraham, we look for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. The most or whole are just wandering through life, with no aim or purpose. There are still a people that are hungry for God and his righteousness. That cries out to be conformed into his image. To possess his power to do his work in these end time. At time I know we feel as if we are the only one, you thought you where the only one that felt this way. I declare that God still has a people sold out to his will and purpose. A people that do not have time to come down from the wall and argue over silly church doctrines and the traditions of men. We will work with a tool in one hand and the sword in the other. While others spend there time arguing, I choose to spend my time preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The only door where men might be saved and set free! We must reach the souls, the harvest is ripe and there is a wind of revival in the air. Father’s Spirit is moving and touching the lives of people. Many have told me I could not and should not go into the foreign fields without any organization backing. The people must be delivered, and set free. They must know a Savior that died for them and to have life more abundantly. I may not know everything and do some things wrong, but at least I am on the field trying, and learning as I go! The ministry is growing little by little. Lives are being changed and saints are being encouraged to go on. Not because of me, but because of his word, spirit and anointing. We must do as Ephesians 5:14)… Awake thou that sleepiest… 16) Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Who in their right mind can argue with this, evil is everywhere. It is as in Noah’s days every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. Read Matt 24:37 and Luke 17:26. My brother and my sister we really only have today, we are not promised tomorrow. As I have said before we must work while it is yet day, night is coming when no man will work. We are in the end times and may I ask, “What are you doing for the kingdom”.

14) Wait on the Lord, and be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart, wait I say on the Lord.

Wait= to remain in expectation, to stop or remain stationary until the arrival of some person or event; to rest in patience

My oldest daughter was around 3 or 4 years old and the city bus route came by our house. She wanted to ride the big bus. I told her fine and you would have thought she was going to a theme park. On the day of the big bus ride, we waited in front of our house. She played and looked up every little bit for the bus. She had no concerns or worries, because her father had said she was going on a bus ride. She was trusting her daddy’s word. When the bus arrived she just jumped on it and gave no thought that a fare had to be paid. She ran and found a seat and her Father paid the cost.
I believe this is the way we are to wait on God. Not to get all bent out of shape, tremble with fear, what if and so forth. If our Father promised it, then it shall surly come to pass. Habakkuk 2:3… though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Now what do we do from the promise to the possession of the promise? From the time frame till it crosses from the spiritual realm to the natural realm. We wait with expectation, we remain stationary until the arrival and we rest in patience. May I say to someone it’s on its way just hold on! My daughter had no concerns- she believed what her earthly father said!
The enemy will try all sorts of things to get us ahead of God. Lets not forget Sarah and Abraham, when Sarah thought she could help the Lord out. There are some real befits in waiting for God. The enemy says you should be doing something WE ARE –WAITING ON GOD AND HIS PROMISE! I want to share two things that will not happen while your waiting on God. 1) You will not die; no matter how many times the enemy says so. Psalm33: 19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. 20) Our soul waiteth for the Lord: he is our help and shield. God is going to sustain us in this famine, where everyone else is getting blessed. It seem as if nothing is going to work out for us. God will not let us die; he is our help and shield.
The 2nd) thing that’s not going to happen is we are going to become weak and fail! The text said he would strengthen thine heart, and God is not a man that he should lie. AMEN. We are not dying or weak or failing God, but trusting him, believing him. Oh for the perfect timing of the Almighty God. Not my timing or your timing, but God’s. He does not watch a clock like you and I. Remember he has his own timetable, a 1,000 years is but one day with the Lord. When we look at it like that we not been waiting that long. So many of us are in a transition period. We are not where we were; yet at the same time we are not where we are going. So we must wait upon the Lord Isaiah 40:31. David the writer of our text knew what it was to wait upon the Lord. God uses times of waiting to refresh, renew and teach us. Make good of your waiting times by discovering what God may be trying to teach us in them. Remember His plan may just be bigger that we can comprehend; I know it was for my life.

I DON'T FEEL LED !

Luke 4:1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was LED BY THE SPIRIT INTO THE WILDERNESS.

The word led in the gr. means properly to lead or drive as in mark 1:12 where is says "driveth him into the wilderness. Christ is our example to follow, to many are following after man or flesh. They try to copy others people's ministry, to preach like them, even wear there hair like them. Christ has never lied or disappointed anyone, never changed his word, in facts each day he is just the same. Everyone is talking about a new level in God, with lips they talk about going deeper into the things of God. They are fine as long as everything goes well and they are being blessed of the Master. As soon as a storm hits-THEY GO ALL TO PIECES! Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness into Judean wastelands, where there was no one, just a barren place if you will. Webster's says a desert, not the best place in the world to be. You might say preacher I thought that God and his Spirit led to great blessings, bigger and finer things in life. Not to a dry and lonely place, a place of TESTING and of TRIALS. A place where we are put under great pressures. Don't forget pressure and time is what causes a piece of invaluable coal to become a priceless stone. Jesus went into the wilderness for a season, the good news to know is we will not always be in this place, but just for a season if need be. So if you are there God is doing something great in your life. He is making you into a vessel of honor that can be used for him. In the case of Christ here he was preparing him for a public ministry. God is getting you ready for something, that only comes from being proven and tried. A word to encourage you it may feel like he has left you, but he is there with you watching over you and seeing that it does not become too much. See God has more faith in us than we have in our self, he knows we are coming out in a greater place. God likes to demonstrate to us, the devil and the world that we can overcome in HIS STRENGTH! It's not always easy to get from one point to another. Many years ago God gave me an open vision and in the vision I was standing in what looked like the Great Smoky Mountains. We live not to far from there and have vacationed there before. What seem like some time could have only been a few seconds. I was standing on top of this mountain and the Lord spoke this to me " do you know how to get to the next mountain" and I said "no Lord". He reply " you must go through the valley". Then I was back to myself and God being so good that he was letting me know I was being led into the wilderness. A great season of testing and proving was just ahead of me. Also God was preparing me for the ministry that He was calling me into. So many today use the term "I DON'T FEEL LED" for an excuse for just not wanting to do something. Anything hard or out of there comfort zone. They think if they use that term they are free from whatever. The preacher has to understand because they DON'T FEEL LED. Why is it that people don't have to be led to shop, go on vacation or things they want to do? The truth is that the Spirit does not have to led us to WHERE WE WANT TO GO for our pleasure, we just go, no questions asked. He leads us to where his will is for us and his purpose for us or to benefit someone else. It's not all about us, we forget it's suppose to be ALL ABOUT HIM and his purpose. Amen! After the test comes the POWER read verse 14)And Jesus returned in the POWER OF THE SPIRIT... I have been in the wilderness many times more than I care to count in the past 30 some years. I can say that God has been faithful each and every time. It's because of those wilderness and deserts that I have the ministry that I have been in trusted with today. There has been some tears along the way, but the joy far out weights the tears. I leave with the old song " I wouldn't take nothing for my journey now- got to make it to heaven some how" God bless you Bro Joey

REPENTANCE

LUKE 22:62 AND PETER WENT OUT, AND WEPT BITTERLY

Does the church use the word "repentance" anymore? I know we don't hear the words repent or repentance hardly anymore at all. I guess these have become outdated like holiness, sanctification and hell as well as the blood of Jesus. According to Vine's it means " to change one's mind or purpose" always in the NT it involving a change for the better. Web says it like this "sorrow for sin". This is a real spiritual experience! Not talking about turning over a new leaf, like so many do at the first of the year. The thing about turning over a new leaf, the first wind can blow it right back over. I know this modern church likes for us to believe that there is no such thing as sin, so there forth no need for repentance. I am an old fashion preacher in an modern world! This is really new age doctrine, that we do no wrong. The real truth is " for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23 also Romans 5:12. So in order to really be a child of God, there must be an born again experience. We must become a new creature in Christ. Peter thought he was to the point of even dying for the Master if need be. Christ knew better, and told him so. Read Psalms 103:13-14. Peter had denied his Lord and Master, his teacher and friend (Luke 22:57) There in verse 61 the Lord turned and looked upon Peter. Here we have someone who thought that he would have never done this! There are some that have done or are doing things now, they thought they would never do, "not me no way". Now anyone who knows me or has followed my ministry knows I DO NOT CODONE SIN. It will separate us from God and cause His ears to be closed to our cries and prayers. So many have been lifted up to think they could never fall or miss the mark. From the pulpit to the door, just read or listen to the news. They love to print or tell the bad and could care less about the good that is being done! Peter didn't mean or planned to fall, it just happen. If he had listen to Jesus, he would have been spared this. He that is without sin cast the first stone, we all have been spiritually deaf an one point or another. I feel this is really going to minister to some. When he realize, our bold, rash and hasty brother was brought to tears, in fact he weep bitterly. This a sign that we are truly born again, if we miss the mark or old school says SINNED. The Spirit will prick our heart. Instead of trying to push Him away or turn a deaf ear- embrace Him with tears and repent. There is something about weeping before the Lord, old saying says " better felt that told". I love to shout, dance in the Holy Ghost, run and speak in tongues- BUT NOTHING REPLACES WEEPING BEFORE THE LORD! It is so refreshing and you get up feeling so cleansed. Sin does not have to be the only reason to weep before the Lord, we are just dealing with this issus at this time. Judas failed and had a sad outcome but Peter repented and weep and went on to win many souls for the kingdom. Don't be afraid of the word repentance or repent. I do not want to to ever fail God and I wish I could say I had not. But thank God, he made a way just in case. I would type it like insurance, you don't think about it much till you need it. Please read Psalm 55:17 and if you have failed God DO NOT GIVE UP, have a avocate with the Father 1 John 2:1. Pray Father has his arms open and wants to wrap them around you and welcome you home and back into fellowship with him. He is soon coming and we all must be ready! MISSION UPDATE

I sit her in the hotel room in awe at the Mighty God in whom we serve! This will be the last night of the "JESUS IS LORD 2007"crusade in the Lacy Town area of Georgetown, Guyana. Each night God's present is growing stronger and stronger. each night the crowd grows bigger and bigger with a great excitement in the air. Every night souls come forward to find the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. The church compound is connected to what they refer to as a "drug yard". Locked in by a reinforced gate, they indulge in all type of drugs and lasciviousness. Last night as I was preaching, we had a group in the "drug yard" hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ. They came out on the roof and porch and listen to every word. The pastor was amazed at what he saw. One came from there Tuesday night and came forth for prayer and when we laid hands on him, the power of God shot through my arm and hand and he fell as dead! It scared him so bad, he almost ran from the church compound. It was a open air meeting. My friend the power of God is real! His love is flowing like a river to those that are lost and bound by sin and vices. He is still in the delivering business; He has lost none of His power. No matter what the need is God is able to meet that need, sin, sickness, these are just words unto God the Father and his Son. Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever. Psalm 98:1 O sing unto the Lord a new song; for he hath done marvelous things.... the psalm says He has done marvelous things and I declare he is still doing marvelous things right here and now. Oh to be apart of this end time move of God and to sound the trumpet and the alarm for Jesus is soon coming! For those that have helped send me and have prayed for Br Phillip and myself, my heart goes out to you and God shall reward you! And what a reward you shall have for having a part in this mission trip. One day we shall stand before the great King and will know all that was done in the spirit, because his word will never return void. And by the way the man came back, he had a touch from the Master and will never be the same. We were able to get to three villages, one 12 miles back in the swamp in Guyana and did a total of three crusades. The Lord is so good while going up the west coast we hit a horse and none in the car was hurt, I wish I could same the same for the car. They got the fender bend back out and we made it to church and what a service we had. You could hear us through out the whole village singing and dancing and praising the Lord for all He did! " Do It "

John 2:5 ... Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

There is an urgency in the spirit of the true believer that are in touch with the timing of God. There is fixing to be a change in the church, and not for the better. At this time there is a freedom and wind of REVIVAL is blowing in the earth. God is moving in an awesome way, touching and mending the lifes of the broken and forgotten. A wind of strength is coming to the body of Christ again. Just as the dry brown brittle grass seem to become fresh, green and alive after a shower. Mary the mother of Jesus in the text says" whatsoever he saith unto you, do it". With Mary, I say the same words. There are many that has never heard the voice of the Lord, or even an inward witness of his Holy Spirit. They have a life of religion, with no relationship or salvation. A form or fashion without any conviction of wrong or sin! We serve a God that is alive and full of love, grace and power. That can speak and impart into one's life and it truly be changed forever! In Nov 03 at a yearly campmeeting at Christian Fellowship Church in Chesnee, SC with Pastor Frank Cooper (website www.thecfchurch.org). A man of true faith, that has given me more encouragement than words can say. I had one of these life changing experience. The Lord spoke one word to me "NATIONS". It's scared me so bad, I would not even tell my wife for three months. In my mind and spirit I asked" How God and why me". Just starting out in full time ministry with very few doors opened to me. Now God is speaking into my spirit nations. Someone said it's wrong to question God, but Mary the mother of Jesus said "how can this be, seeing I know not a man"? Mark 19:27...with God all things are possible". God may not be calling you to nations, but to a real relationship with true fellowship and communion with God himself, through Jesus Christ. He may be asking you to lay aside a weight or sin that is slowing you down in this great race. He may just be asking you to forgive someone, just like he forgave us! Whatsoever he asks, DO IT, because there will be a deeper relationship and a stronger bond between you and the Savior.. What is the Master of our soul asking of you?

"There is Nothing"

1 Kings 18:43 And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said,There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times.

NOTHING = def. no and thing; not anything; not any existence; a word that denies the existence of anything.

After three and a half years of no rain, the ground was dried and cracked. the cattle are dying and everyone is seeking water or death. This was in the natural, but this is the way many are in this hour spirituality. Without spiritual or living water, they are slowly dying. Hope is almost gone. and it looks like everything is over. And even if we don't says it we wondering "where is God". We have all been there at one point or another.
Then in the scripture Elijah prophesied there is rain coming- not just a shower, but an abundance of rain. I am also telling someone there is spiritual rain on it's way to you. Just because someone is WAITING doesn't mean what you need or believing for ain't on the way! Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength.... The word renew means to make new again; repair; repeat; to transform. There are some that need their strength renew or repaired. Just as the thoughs of abundance of rain seem to be impossible to believe. That it's possible for your spiritual strength to be regained, and you become strong in the Lord once again!
Real faith keeps a watch and can wait and gather strength from the Lord's delays. And always remember God's delays are not God's denial. Elijah said "GO AGAIN SEVEN TIMES".
Gal 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, IF WE FAINT NOT. (lose heart)
AMP And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for DUE TIME and at the APPOINTED SEASON we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint

Houston's Revivals Numbers 14:8 If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.
delight: to be pleased with; favor; be (well) please:take delight, have pleasure.

First, let me say I am sorry for running behind posting this month. We are very busy getting ready for the mission trip in April, we really need pray and a miracle.

In other words if God takes pleasure or delights in us he will give us our land. This sound so strange that a great and awesome and powerful God could take pleasure or be pleased with us. I am about to have a shouting spell! Real obedience will bring and put us in that position with our God! One thing is for sure, God is wanting to bless us and take us to a new place or level in him. There is one problem; we cannot get to where we are going, if we don't leave where we are at. Some people are such creatures of habit, they refuse to change what they call their pew in church. I learned a hard and valuable lession in 2003, well it really started in 2001. I was so much a creature of habit, I really didn't like any change in my life at all. Well for one thing it's hard to go through life without change. Too really live life you must be able to embrace change! Well God started messing with my routine (rut) and things started to change very fast. To make things worse as I was trying and praying each step looked with the nature eye, looked like it was a mistake. But as a old revival song says " something down inside of me, telling me go ahead, go ahead". It looked wrong because it was different and it feel wrong just because it was different. We must be lead by His Spirit in these last hours. I was following the Spirit, but it was to a new and deeper level in Him. To a new trust, like never before in my many years of serving the great master of my soul, who was leading me each step of the way. We want the blessings of God, we even shout and sing about getting them, until Father asks something more of us. It may be something simple- to give more, read more or even pray more. It may be to go to revival meeting 3 or 5 nights in a row. Maybe it's just to go back to sunday nite service or visit someone sick or in prison. God was telling the children of Israel that there was great blessing " a land which floweth with milk and honey". A sign of great and unheard of blessings, the real deal, if I might say. There where some giants and obstacles, but just beyond them was where the blessings were at. I had to overcome fear and some unbelief (yes I said unbelief). To someone struggling, I say their is a Canaan land just ahead, where the blessings are waiting for someone with a right spirit and trust in God. Don't go by sight or feeling, be lead of the Spirit, no matter what flesh, enemy or other are telling you. Let's get all God has for us in 2007! Psa 37:4Delight thyself also in the lord, and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. My desires are to tell someone of the love of Jesus Christ. To help relive someone's suffering and encourage the saints to hold on and reach higher. Change from God is good, don't be afraid when he starts a new thing in your life. He has some wonderful things for His children, sure there are some giants, but keep your eyes on Him. His plans are perfect for each one of us. I believe for great and mighty things in 2007, who knows He may just come back this year! love and prayers Bro Joey

WHAT A GOD WE SERVE !

PSA 68:19 Blessed be the Lord, who loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation.
Well can you believe another year has come and almost gone. This is a time to reflect on all the many benefits that the Lord has blessed us with. My mind goes back to this time last year. It was a very dark time in my life for myself and family. I was in a car accident, while driving home that day, I blacked out and went air borne and went over a 14 ft embankment! I hit my head and had a severe concussion. There is almost no memory of last Dec o5. The enemy told me that my ministry was over. He said I would never drive again and that I should accept the fact that my ministry was over. The devil is a liar and the father of it.
As i look back over this year, 2006, I have ran more revivals than any other in my ministry! Praise God who is our strength and from whom all blessing flow. I have been blessed to see souls saved, filled with the Holy Ghost as well as bodies healed and many set free. Oh what a God we do serve. To be allowed to carry the mighty gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world. Yes ther has been hardships and some tears, a few trials, but our God remains faithful. Yes with a new year there will be more obstacles to overcome, but remember we go forth into this new year with the same faithful God. That said " I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. (Heb 13:5) There are more prayers to be prayed and answered. There is another soul that must be reached, no matter where or what the cost! If we go through this life and never pick up someone that has fallen- relieved someone's pain or touched their soul and spirit, we have done NOTHING. One day we will see all the little things that helped and changed someone's life. "What a day that will be, when my Jesus I shall see and to look upon his face, the one who saved me by his grace. Oh what a day that will be"!
Saints we may be pressing into 2007, but keep pressing to the next victory, deliverance or miracle. Remember the test of today will be the testimony of tomorrow. Last year it was hard for me to be able to sign my name, look at the blogs by the help of God that I have written. Press to a new tomorrow a brighter day.

2 PETER 2:10 BUT CHIEFLY THEM THAT WALK AFTER THE FLESH IN THE LUST OF UNCLEANNESS, AND DESPISE GOVERNMENT, PRESUMPTUOUS ARE THEY, SELFWILLED, THEY ARE NOT AFRAID TO SPEAK EVIL OF DIGNITIES.
1)A REBEL IS ONE WHO MAKES WAR AGAINST OR OPPOSES CONSTITUTED AUTHORITES: OR OPPOSES LAWFUL AUTHORITY.
2)A DEVIL IS A EVIL SPIRIT AND CAN ALSO BE A VERY WICKED PERSON

WE ARE LIVING IN AN HOUR IN WHICH WE HAVE MANY REBELS AND DEVILS WORKING IN THE CHURCH. WHEN I SAY "CHURCH" I AM SPEAKING OF THE BODY OF CHRIST. I AM NOT SPEAKING OF A BUILDING OR CERTAIN GROUP BY NAME OR CREED. REBELS AND DEVILS ARE NOT PART OF THE BODY, JUST WORKING AMONG THE BODY. IF WE HAD MORE DISCERNING OF SPIRITS, RATHER THAN FAVOR OF FLESH THIS WOULD NOT BE SO. IN ORDER TO BE A PART OF THE BODY, ONE MUST BE BORN AGAIN (NO DEBATE)! JOHN 3:3... EXCEPT A MAN BE BORN AGAIN, HE CANNOT SEE THE KINGDOM OF GOD. ONCE A PERSON IS BORN AGAIN IN HEART, WE BECOME A NEW CREATURE AND STARTS LIVING AND LEARNING OF HIM.
THERE ARE SOME REBELS WHO OPPOSE ALL LAWFUL AUTHORITY OF THE CHURCH AND BODY OF CHRIST. LET ME SAY THAT CHRIST LOVED THE CHURCH AND SANCTION IT!(MATT 16:18)
THERE ARE SOME THAT THINK THEY KNOW MORE THAN THE FIVE-FOLD MINISTRY (EPH 4:11-13). THEY THINK THEY KNOW HOW TO FIX GOD'S CHURCH. WHEN IN FACT THEY ARE DOING NOTHING BUT BREEDING HAUGHTY AND REBELLOUS SPIRITS. SHORTLY WE ARE GOING TO SEE A MOVE OF THE SPIRIT (NOT FLESH) IN THE BODY OF CHRIST AND THE WORLD. GOD HAS NOT PUT US OUT TO DRY SO TO SPEAK. SO BE ENCOURAGED BECAUSE REVIVAL IS IN THE AIR. GOD IS STARTING TO BLOW THE WINDS OF REVIVAL IN A MIGHTY WAY. IF YOU ARE NOT SEEING A MOVE OF GOD THEN YOU JUST MAY BE IN THE WRONG PLACE! REBELS AND DEVILS CONDEMNS AND COMPLAINS, WHILE SAINTS ARE CRYING OUT TO GOD TO DEAL AND HELP HIS CHURCH. WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING LATELY? THE REBELS AND DEVILS REALLY DON'T WANT TO SEE GOD MOVE, THEY LOVE CONFUSION. IN FACT THE MORE TROUBLE THE BETTER THEY LIKE IT! PROVERBS 4:16 FOR THEY SLEEP NOT EXCEPT THEY HAVE DONE MISCHIEF; AND THEIR SLEEP IS TAKEN AWAY, UNLESS THEY CAUSE SOME TO FALL.
WE MUST GET OUR EYES OFF THEM AND BACK ON THE GREAT PRIZE, CHRIST HIMSELF. THEY HAVE ALWAYS BE AROUND AND WILL TILL HE TAKES US HOME.(GOOD NEWS) THE CLOSER WE GET TO THE LORD, THE FARTHER BEHIND THEY WILL BECOME AND THE LESS POWER THEY WILL HAVE!AMEN!
THE WORD TELLS US HIS CHILDREN -TO DO GOOD, HEB 13:16. EPH 4:27 NEITHER GIVE PLACE TO THE DEVIL. A PLACE IS A SPOT- OCCUPANCY- LOCATION (A LICENCE). WE MUST REVOKE HIS LICENSE, HIS SPOT AND HIS OCCUPANCY. THE BATTLE IS CLOSE TO BEING OVER, WE MUST PRESS FORWARD. SAINTS WE ARE GOING TO MAKE IT, IF WE STAY CLOSE TO THE MASTER.
WATCH FOR THOSE THAT SPEAK OF THE BODY OF CHRIST (CHURCH) WITH CONTEMPT, MALICE OR JUST PLAIN FOOLISHNESS. GOD HIMSELF IS GOING TO STRAIGHTEN HIS CHURCH OUT, HIS BODY AND THE WORLD AS WELL. JUST REMEMBER IT AIN'T OVER YET! REV. 22:12 AND, BEHOLD, I COME QUICKLY; AND MY REWARD IS WITH ME, TO GIVE EVERY MAN ACCORDING AS HIS WORK SHALL BE. AMEN

"THE COST OF FOLLOWING CHRIST"

Philippians 3:10 That I may know him ... and the fellowship of his sufferings.
It's hard to know Christ without following him into the garden of Gethsemane ("the oil press"). Where he was sorrowful and very heavy. This is where Christ's will die and he choose to do the Father's will. To complete what he came into the world to do. That the bridge between God and man could be mended. Many wants the blessings without suffering. They want to detour by the garden and by-pass the sufferings. Paul on the other hand wanted to know him and the fellowship of his suffering. Paul gave up everthing in order to know Christ and his resurrection power. What are you willing to give up to know Christ. Whatever it is, knowing Christ is more than worth the sacrifice. Most today live there life spending more for clothes, vacations and self than they ever give to God. While others in the world go lacking daily food and the simple or basic necessities of life, even water.
2 Tim 2:6 The husbandman that laboureth must first partakers of the fruits. This is speaking of a farmer who works hard for the harvest. Many in the body of Christ are facing difficult things as well as times. The enemy of our soul has told them they have did something wrong or missed the mark. Remember the word calls Satan a liar! We are facing things, because of the stand that we have taken. One song says " TAKE THIS WHOLE WORLD, BUT GIVE ME JESUS". Only you and God knows truly what it has cost you to serve God and do his work for the kingdom. What ever it maybe, minister, singer, or a sunday school teacher or a child of God. The mountians as well as the valleys. All the tears- fears- rejection from family and peers. Yet our souls still crys give us more of Jesus, his love and his power as well as his mercy and forgiveness. Yes there are some gardens and we may even have to go from time to time through the "valley of Baca" Psa 84:6. A valley of tears that could fill a well. The scripture says " Who passing through" not staying or living, just passing through. With each storm of life and every tear that we face. We begin to relate and share ( a very small portion) of His sufferings. As we reap, just like the farmer, we grow in our relationship with Christ Jesus. That we may KNOW HIM, not JUST KNOW OF HIM. Not just an hour on Sunday morning. A walking and talking relationship that is 24/7 with the Master. We become intimate with Him. Webster's says intimate means close in friendship; familar; close. We come close to Him, and learn His ways and of His faithfulness, as well as His great love for mankind. 1Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, things which God hath prepared for them that love him. Rom 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Saints of God payday is almost here. 1Corinthians 3:8...and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. So dear brother or sister don't give out and don't give in for we are to near the shore! I can almost see the lights of that city. We may have to stop- regroup and pray, BUT WE CAN NEVER QUIT! The reward is too close and the cost would be to great, WE MUST PRESS FORWARD. For soon He shall wipe away our tears ( Rev. 21:4). Many years ago I seen an open vision of the hands on a clock spinning so fast like the blades of a motor fan. I heard the Lord say " THE NIGHT COMETH, WHEN NO MAN CAN WORK" Jn 9:4. Just like the hands of that clock, time is almost spent. So let's win every soul we can, and tell the world of a Savour's love and forgiveness. One day you will be so glad that you did! AMEN

If you have serve God anytime at all, you have longed for Rev.20:10 When the devil will be casted into the lake of fire and brimstone, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Until then we must "fight the good fight of faith" 1 Tim 6:12. The mighty God we serve has left us some awesome weapons to fight the enemy with. In the previous blog, I spoke of the weapon of PRAISE.
Heb. 4:12 For the word of God is quick and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword... . The text of James 4:7 gives us a powerful and great promise. I hear so much "I can't make it, I don't know what I am going to do". In the temptation to go back to the world, to doubt God and his word. To give in to sin and leave the path called straight. The scripture says to "SUBMIT" yourself there to God. To many in the church want to strainghten out others, but we must work on ourselfs. For in the end we will stand before God for ourselves alone. SUBMIT means to be under obedience to God. It will never work trying to serve God half way and not be in full obedience to him and his laws. The promises will never be fulfilled without complete obedience. Then it says to RESIST to stand against; oppose; resist; withstand. There was a time when the church as a whole and as an individuals, we stood against the enemy anyway that we could. We must come back to that again, to see the mighty hand of God begin to work in our lifes again. The text says if we do these two things then something will happen! That the devil will flee. The word flee means in the gr. to vanish; to escape; flee (away). So according to the word, the devil is to be running from us and not us running from him. There are so many things out of order in the church, that God is fixing to set straight. He is coming back for a church on fire. Not lukewarm or cold, half in and half out, but on fire with the great Holy Ghost burning in our souls. You can overcome and cause the devil to flee from you and to vanish from you in that temptation. Two simple steps will bring VICTORY. It sound to good to be true, just to simple to work. We complicate things with our own understanding and reasoning. Remember it's the word of our faithful God. It's not a mere assurance from a man, but God himself. I believe VICTORY is coming to those reading this, as you do what God said, HE WILL DO THE REST. Study His word, pray and fast and watch the mighty hand of God begin to work and Him to begin to answer your prayers. He want to move for you and to bless you as like you have never seen before. He loves us more than we comprehend and will not fail you or I. Will you fail Him?

"The Spirit of Heaviness"

SPECIAL MESSAGE: THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS, WHILE WE WERE ON THE MISSION FIELD FOR THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. SOULS WERE ADDED TO THE KINGDOM, BODIES WERE TOUCHED AND HEALED AS WELL AS SET FREE. WE ARE THANKFUL FOR THE LORD KEEPING AND WATCHING OVER US.TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY AND PRAISE FOR THE GREAT THINGS HE HAS DONE!

ISAIAH 61:3 ... the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness...

While overseas this last time God took me into this verse and show me something that I had never seen before. First of all the scripture says a SPIRIT of heaviness, I believe is attacking the body of Christ. Now before you think I have gone off the deep end, as least hear me out.The original word for spirit of heaviness usually means FAINT, FEEBLE.or WEAK. It is used of a lamp going out (Isa. 42:3) and eyes becoming dim (1Sam. 3:2). Does this not sound like the church of our day?
As we travel and preach the mighty gospel of Jesus Christ. You go to one church and see a mighty move of God and the people on fire for the great King. A year later the ministry is cold and lifeless. Saints that one time had power and victory, walked under the anointing of the Holy Ghost. They are no where to be seen, just drifting away, this should not be. Yes there is a spirit or force that is attacking the saints of God- but we are the overcomers in this warfare of our souls.
The rsv says it like this "a mantle of praise for the spirit of heaviness". There is a way to overcome this spirit and not be overcome by it! PRAISE is a awesome weapon against that spirit. When we come under an attack from the enemy the first thing is our praise the he goes after. Praise is a act of faith, knowing who God is and loving Him just for who He is. And when we Praise Him he comes close to us and we have fellowship with the Great King. Psalms 22:3 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel. Father God loves it when we begin to sing and worship Him, it drives back that spirit of heaviness, that weakness, that has come upon us. We become free to live, love and work for the Master of our souls.
Psalms 30:11 Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and GIRDED me with gladness. Girded with joy as with a garment, surrounding me on every side.
So many times I am reminded that it is not sin to be in a place where you do not know what to do, but in those places we are to still keep our eyes on the Lord and to trust Him that he will bring us out. Read 2 Chronicles 20, the whole chapter. It tell us of a man's faith and trust in God by the name of Jehoshaphat. Ther battle was won by them praising God. Let me put this in here, there are two times to praise God. 1) is when you feel like it. 2) is when you don't feel like it. As we begin to cloth ourselves in His garment that He has given us of Praise. Something happen it the spirit realm. It the spirit realm victory is already ours. When Christ hung on the cross and said " It is finished" Jn 19:30. The Victory was won in every area of our life, no matter what! I believe praise bring it from the spirit realm into our natural realm. So you do not have to be depressed and faint, put on you grament or mantle of praise. You make not feel like it at first, but when you wade into the spirit, the presents of God will come. Tears will flow, joy will return and strength for your journey will come! I feel the presents of God as I write this, some have been under the attack of this spirit for along time and just didn't know what to do. Well now you do, start giving praises to Him. Hebrews 12:12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees. This come from Isaiah 35:3 and is talking about people who are worn and sick and who are totally discouraged. So take courage and persevere to the end. Jesus is soon coming and has a crown for us who have been faithful. We are to close to the city to give up or give out. LET'S PRAISE THE THE SOON COMING KING!

WARNING: THIS MESSAGE IS NOT FOR THOSE PLAYING WITH GOD OR PLAYING CHURCH. IT IS FOR MATURE STRONG SOLDIERS IN THE ARMY OF GOD OR THAT DESIRE TO BE!

Not to many will argue that we are living in the last days- the bible tells us- the news media reminds us. Yet we are not living as if it's the last days. not many are crying for lost love ones or lost souls. The main church world is caught up in the race of life, one trying to out do the other.
There are few that are willing to die to self, to see the promises of God manifested in our lifes. It's scares me to read where the Son of the living God had to cry and pray "... but as thou wilt". Matt 26:39 Yet we go to church, live our lifes as if there should be no suffering or pleading with God for his real will for our lives. Just give me this and that. Please don't ask anything of me.
As time is winding up, we must get serious with ourself and God.
Dare we go before Him and ask of strength and power to live and serve Him! Dare we ask and seek for His anointing that will destory the yoke of sin and bondage off of His people, our loved ones and even the world as we know it. Gen. 32:24 we see where Jacob took hold of the angel of the Lord and refused to let go till he blessed him. How dare a man wrestle with God, but he did. He began the struggle as a deceiver, a supplanter and a cheater. It ended with him as a prince of God. It costed him, his hip joint, most say he walked with limp the rest of his life. With each step or limp he was reminded, every time someone called his name, he was no longer what he was. Oh but that he was what God desired him to be. I am not what I was over thirty years ago when I started this walk with the Lord. Nor am I what I want and desire to be. Dare I wrestle with God to die more? How can we settle for anything less?. He said the works He did, we could do greater. Jn 14:12
Dare we set our goals so high and challenge ourself in such away. YES, YES, YES
We must not fall short, too many are needing us, depending upon us. We must fulfill our calling, many are in the valley of decision, the harvest is truly white. There is inspiration- revelation and yes, visitation awaiting us. ONE LIFE WHICH SOON BE PAST, ONLY WHAT IS DONE FOR CHRIST WILL LAST. Who is up for the challenge?

A Time Of Refreshing

Song of Solomon 2:12
This scripture speaks of the flowers appearing on the the earth, and the time of the birds singing. It's spring time, my favorite time of the year. It's as if the earth is being replenished or refreshed, coming back to life after a long sleep of winter. The warmeth of the sun and the singing of the birds, you just feel so alive.I pray that all would feel this way, and rejoice. There are many in the body of Christ who just do not feel this way, they are stuck in a winter season of there life. It's as if there are no birds singing or beautiful flowers in bloom. I have a word for you right in this season in your life. Acts 3:19 ... when the times of refreshing SHALL come from the PRESENCE OF THE LORD. This gr. word refreshing means properly, a recovery of breath, i.e.(fig) revival. It means refreshment, after being heated with labour, running. Its seem many of God's children are just running in life and labouring and are worn out SPIRITULLY. We have forgotten that in the Lord's presence's there is a breath of fresh air, to cool us and refresh us in these hard times in which we live.To look into his face, in his presence. We take times for everything but God. Oh he will always be there, when I get ready, I will go to Him. Now is the time to run to Him, when we are weak and worn down by the cares of life. There is strength and help, that is just a prayer away. Just as the earth is waking up from the long sleep, we can be awaken from our spiritual sleep, I hear God's alarm clock going off. He saying" Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, I WILL give you REST". Matt 11:28 He said cast that care or burden on him, and rest. The Lord wants to bless His children, he wants to help them and supply their every need. We fail in even going to him for help, we look to everything but him. Forgive us Father, allow us into your presence once again where is all that we will ever need. Hebrews 4:16" Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to HELP IN TIME OF NEED".

The Sword of Goliath 1Sam.21:8-9

The lord has taken me to this many times in the last few weeks. The one day king David was running from Saul. One place he said "there is but a step between me and death. David was speaking of a physical death at the hand of his enemy Saul. There are many that are a step between them and a spiritual death. They are cold and not praying or reading the holy word of God. Just going through the motion, without the joy and peace they one time had! There is hope and help for that one who wants it. Praise the lamb of God! There is VICTORY FOR EVERY SOUL THAT CRIES OUT TO GOD. He is a God of restoration, not just for the lost souls of man.Also those who are battle worn and beaten down from the storms and the cares of life. It is a wonderful thing to see the mighty hand of God work in a person life and see homes and lifes restored. Fathers and Mothers taking there place back. But what about the weary child of God who have done there best and just seem as if the is no more strenght to fight another battle. Just as David was running for his natural life, many are running for there spiritual life. As David took hold of the sword of Goliath, there was not another like it! He remembered the day he stood on Goliath chest and cut off his head. How that God had deliver this giant into a young man's hands with only a sling and stone plus a great faith in God. Remember when the Lord worked a miracle in your life. When He made a way where there was no way to be made.When he broke a fever, way over into the night. Well the bible tells us " Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever. Heb".13:8 He has not changed, reach back for the sword of yesterday's miracle and draw strength form it. God will not fail you now , or tomorrow. He is a faithful God, that we can trust. Take back your joy, peace, and strength, your home, health whatever the devil has taken from you. Our lord and soon coming king died so that we can have VICTORY in our lifes, anything else is not His will!
